With L\u00f3pez Valencia\u2019s appointment as Chairman of the Board, Mineros stated that its strategic vision for long-term growth will be further strengthened.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company indicated that this decision marks a new phase in its strategic vision and direction \u201cfollowing the arrival of Sun Valley Investments (led by investor Vikram Sodhi<\/a>) as a shareholder, reinforcing Mineros\u2019 commitment to shared value creation and responsible, sustainable mining.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth recalling that, with the most recent Public Tender Offer (PTO) launched by Sun Valley, the Canadian fund increased its stake to a total of 56.85%, thereby becoming the largest shareholder. Sun Valley acquired a total of 77.93 million shares under the terms of the PTO, for a total aggregate consideration of COP $428.624 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He served as President of Bavaria for 15 years, \u201cleading the company through a period of expansion, innovation, and transformation.
