This decision marks a new phase in the Company\u2019s strategic vision and direction following the arrival of Sun Valley Investments as a shareholder, reinforcing the Company\u2019s commitment to shared value creation and responsible, sustainable mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than five decades of experience, Mr. L\u00f3pez Valencia is one of Colombia\u2019s most respected business leaders, known for his significant contributions to Colombia\u2019s economic and industrial development. He served as President of Bavaria S.A. for 15 years, leading the company through a period of expansion, innovation, and transformation. His leadership coincided with the consolidation of the Santo Domingo Group as one of Latin America\u2019s most prominent business conglomerates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. L\u00f3pez Valencia has held board positions at several of Colombia\u2019s leading companies, including Avianca, Valores Bavaria S.A., Colseguros, Sofasa, Caracol Televisi\u00f3n, Banco Comercial Antioque\u00f1o, Gran Colombia Gold, Banc\u00f3ldex, Carulla-Vivero, and Metro de Medell\u00edn. He currently serves on the boards of Grupo Ethuss, Win Sports, and Uniempresarial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of his leadership and impact, he has received numerous national and international honors, including the Order of the Congress of the Republic of Colombia and the Ordre National du M\u00e9rite of France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
