Position: Mining Planning Engineer
Area: Mining Operations
On-site Modality: Segovia (must have availability to work in the area from Monday to Friday)
Position Purpose: To plan, design, and optimize underground mining exploitation processes, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, sustainability, and the fulfillment of the production objectives established by the company.
Required Profile:
Professional in Mining Engineering (essential), with a minimum of two years of experience in underground mine planning or related areas such as engineering, geology, or operations. Proficiency in mining planning software is required (Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, MineSched, Surpac, or other similar tools).

Main Functions:
- Prepare short, medium, and long-term exploitation plans.
- Design mining workings considering safety, ventilation, and geotechnics.
- Optimize exploitation sequences to maximize mineral recovery and minimize dilution and costs.
- Model and evaluate scenarios utilizing specialized software (Deswik, Datamine, MineSched, Vulcan, or Surpac).
- Plan ventilation and services (compressed air, water, power, transport, etc.) for each stage of the mine.
- Analyze deviations between the planned and executed work, proposing corrective actions.
- Prepare production budgets and cost projections.
- Collaborate with the geotechnics and ground support area to ensure the stability of the workings.
