Vikram Sodhi is a private investor focused on long-term investments in the metals and mining sector, deploying capital across public and private markets.
He is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Sun Valley Investments, a privately held firm that invests proprietary capital with a long-term orientation. The firm has built substantial ownership positions in Mineros S.A. (TSX: MSA) and Canagold Resources Ltd. (TSX: CCM). It takes an active, long-term approach to capital allocation, governance, and strategic development.
Mr. Sodhi also serves as Executive Chairman of Goldlogic Corp., through which he undertakes investments across the capital structure, including structured financing, royalties, and offtake agreements.
In parallel with his investment activities, Mr. Sodhi is the Founder of the Sodhi Foundation, which supports research into novel treatments for PTSD, including psychedelic-assisted therapies, and invests in early childhood education and community development initiatives in underserved regions of Colombia and India. He has endowed a professorship at Yale School of Medicine dedicated to advancing research in psychedelic medicine.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sodhi co-founded and managed several investment platforms across the United States, Latin America, and India which oversaw more than $2 billion of transactions in metals, mining, and affordable housing, and raised over $1 billion of institutional capital.
Mr. Sodhi is a graduate of Yale University, where he was a full scholarship recipient and conducted neuroscience research at Yale School of Medicine. He is a member of the Yale President’s Council on International Activities and a Sterling Fellow at Yale University.
He is fluent in five languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.
