Mineros Reported Record Gold Production of 225,846 Ounces in December

The company explained that this result was bolstered by its operations in Nicaragua, which contributed 20,667 ounces of gold equivalent (AuEq).

Mineros reported achieving record production in December of 225,846 ounces of gold, reaching the upper limit of its 2025 estimates. The company explained that this performance was driven by its operations in Nicaragua, which produced 20,667 ounces of gold equivalent (AuEq).

The company’s performance was primarily propelled by production from its Nicaraguan operations, featuring improved processing plant throughput and the prioritization of higher-grade artisanal minerals, combined with stable production from its Colombian operations.

Daniel Henao, President of Mineros, commented that “this performance begins to reflect the impact of multiple operational improvement initiatives, supported by our continuous focus on efficiency and execution. We remain confident in our capacity to generate sustainable value for shareholders.”

At the Nechí Alluvial Property, production reached 89,777 ounces of gold, resulting in the upper limit of estimates and approximately 9% higher than in 2024; this reflects better equipment availability, increased operational efficiency, and optimized production scheduling.

The company reported that total production in Nicaragua reached 131,879 ounces of gold, hitting the upper limit of estimates and establishing a new monthly production record for the operations. Ongoing initiatives are focused on systematically eliminating plant bottlenecks to increase capacity and cost efficiency.
