This announcement reflects the solid performance of both companies on the Colombian Stock Exchange throughout 2025.

The global stock index provider MSCI announced in its latest quarterly review that shares of Mineros (BVC: MINEROS) and Preferred Grupo Sura (BVC: PFSURA) will be included in the MSCI Colombia Small Cap Index, effective at the close of the market on November 30, 2025.
This announcement reflects the solid performance of both companies on the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) throughout 2025. Year-to-date (YTD), Mineros has registered an appreciation of 213.5%, while the preferred share of Grupo Sura has advanced 72.9%. These increases strengthened their free float-adjusted market capitalization, allowing them to meet the technical criteria for inclusion in the Small Cap category.
The news comes in a particularly favorable context for the local market. As of November 5, the MSCI Colcap reached an all-time high of 2,035.82 points, with a YTD variation of 47.56% and a 12-month growth of 49.21%, consolidating its position as one of the best-performing indices in Latin America during 2025.
The incorporation of these two issuers into the MSCI Small Cap universe enhances the international visibility of the Colombian market and reinforces the trend of recovery and strengthening liquidity that has characterized the equity market this year. With this inclusion, the index basket will be composed of Cementos Argos, Grupo Argos, Grupo Sura, Mineros, and Preferred Grupo Sura. The next rebalancing is scheduled for February 2026.
In this regard, Andrés Restrepo Montoya, General Manager of the Colombian Stock Exchange, stated that “the entry of Grupo Sura and Mineros into the MSCI Colombia Small Cap strengthens the positioning of our issuers before global investors.”
“Being part of this index expands their international exposure, increases the potential demand from funds that replicate or reference MSCI’s baskets, and improves their liquidity profile. This is a positive signal that adds to the strong performance of the Colombian market this year,” he added.
