Mineros Announces the Appointment of Daniel Henao as President of the Company

Mineros announced the appointment of Daniel Henao as the company’s new President. Henao emphasized that the organization is committed to maintaining stability and advancing its core mission during this period of evolution.

Mineros S.A. reported a significant restructuring of its leadership with several changes within senior management and the Board of Directors. The most notable change was the appointment of Daniel Henao as the company’s new President, following the resignation of David Londoño.

These changes, according to Mineros, are intended to strengthen its corporate structure and support the next stage of the company’s growth; it is worth noting that in April of this year, Londoño had been introduced as the company’s new President.

Henao, who previously served on the company’s Board of Directors, brings extensive experience across the precious metals value chain, from exploration and project evaluation to operations and refining.

Additionally, Henao’s track record includes leadership in mining transactions and project development across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The company explained that adjustments in the shareholding structure during 2024 and 2025 led to a reevaluation of executive roles and strategic priorities; therefore, outgoing executives will support a transition process to ensure continuity for stakeholders.

Daniel Henao, the company’s new President, reiterated that they are committed to maintaining stability and advancing their core mission during this period of evolution. “Our focus is on delivering value to our stakeholders and positioning Mineros for long-term success.”

Additionally, as part of the changes, David Splett will leave the position of Chief Financial Officer as of January 2, 2026, and his role will be assumed on an interim basis by Sergio Chavarría, the current Financial Manager.

Among the other changes is the appointment of María Vallejo García as the new Vice President of Growth and Business Development; Carlos David Ríos Restrepo as Vice President of Exploration beginning December 1, 2025; and Marcela Castillo as the new Vice President of Sustainability.

Lastly, the company announced the resignation of Andrés Restrepo and Marco Izquierdo Llanos from the Board of Directors and expressed its appreciation for their contributions and service.
