La República Reports: “Mineros Identified 1,286 thousand tonness of Indicated Mineral Resources at the Guillermina Project”

The asset is located four kilometers west of the Pioneer Mine. It consists of a vein system with a length of 1.8 kilometers and an azimuth orientation of 245 degrees.

Mineros announced the identification of 1,286 thousand tonnes (kt) of indicated mineral resources and 1,286 kt of inferred mineral resources at the Guillermina project. On average, the indicated resources contain 0.71 grams of gold per tonne and 23.3 grams of silver per tonne, according to the company.

As for the inferred mineral resources, the average grades increase to 1.32 grams of gold per tonne and 30.2 grams of silver per tonne.

“We are pleased to have reached this milestone at Guillermina, one of several key targets in our portfolio of organic growth projects,” said David Londoño, President of Mineros. He also noted that “this deposit represents a significant opportunity that could play a key role in the future development of the Porvenir Project.”

The Guillermina project is located within the Hemco Property, part of the Mining Triangle district in Nicaragua. The area centers around the communities of Bonanza, Rosita, and Siuna.

The asset is situated four kilometers west of the Pioneer Mine. It features a vein system extending 1.8 kilometers with an azimuth orientation of 245 degrees. The structure exhibits anomalies in gold, silver, and zinc. The mineralization system includes an assemblage of hydrothermal breccias, stockwork, and veinlets up to 20 m in thickness.. It consists of a chalcedony-adularia quartz matrix. The breccia matrix contains galena, sphalerite, and hematite occurring in patches and bands throughout.
