We are seeking a Data Engineer / AI Agents professional responsible for designing and implementing Artificial Intelligence agents focused on the extraction, structuring, and analysis of technical information derived from geological documents.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI agents for information extraction from geological documents (technical PDFs, exploration reports, tables, maps, and annexes).
• Construct data processing workflows to transform unstructured information into organized and clear datasets.
• Manage and integrate geospatial and geological data, encompassing tabular, textual, and spatial information.
• Support the definition of geological data structures (resources, reserves, drilling, QA/QC, coordinates, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with geologists to validate results and ensure the technical consistency of the extracted information.
• Document extraction processes and criteria, promoting best practices and reproducibility.
• Propose continuous improvements in automation processes and the utilization of AI.

Requirements:

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Data Science, Geology, Geosciences, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Technical English proficiency (reading reports).
• Programming: Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• 2 years of experience in data processing, automation, or applied AI projects.
• Desirable: Practical knowledge of geospatial and geological data (shapefiles, coordinates, maps, and geological databases).
