We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our team at Sun Valley Investments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and risk prevention within the organization. This involves supervising suppliers, managing legal procedures, verifying restrictive lists, and providing support to the Compliance Officer in the implementation of established controls and policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Professional degree in Financial Engineering, Administrative Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in compliance-related areas, preferably within regulated sectors (financial, mining, foreign trade, healthcare, or telecommunications).
- Specific Training: Proficiency in mining or environmental law, SAGRILAFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing System), and possession of a UIAF (Financial Information and Analysis Unit) course certification.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate suppliers through site visits and documented monitoring.
- Manage legal procedures and information requests from regulatory authorities.
- Assist the Compliance Officer in risk mitigation and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Participate in compliance committees and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Verify restrictive lists utilizing platforms such as Stradata.
- Consolidate and update supplier operation records within Stradata.
- Ensure the validity and legal compliance of export-related supporting documentation.
